It has been a fun 2nd week, however work load is getting worse I have to say, nevertheless it’s fun. Alhamdullilah I managed to go through the first barrier of design; getting my initial ideas the green light. Now, proceeding to developing further concepts.

The ‘best’ part about living in Newcastle is getting common questions like “Why did you choose Newie?” and “How do you like Newie so far?” (with a menyesal wei-kau-pilihh-duduk-tempat ni-takde apa nak buat- face!) But , I really like this place. really. Memang bosan tapi entah, I’m just weird I guess.

Talking about design earlier, Efa told me about a local student in our studio; on his concept. I really think I have to LITERALLY THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX AT THIS POINT. Haha, maybe UiTM really made us think IN THE BOX sangat, more to practicality. Now i have to ‘fly’ away into a totally different dimension and explore. Oh I love this. really.

Back to this person. Yes, his concept is just beyond crazy, we’re no longer in first or 2nd year where we can go gila gila kan ? It’s Master of Architecture, and high rise residential tower for God’s sake..but I have to respect his bold-ness….. I know you can’t wait to the concept. Im torturing you kan ? Haha. Okay … He drew a person with a Bong. and says that he wants to grow marijuana every part of the high rise building, as part of (shading maybe?) and as aesthetic value. Cause he says, in the future, people would just want to get high. Hahahhahaha.
